How to sauté Gourmet Mushrooms

  1. Clean Gently

Use a soft brush or cloth to gently clean any dirt off the mushrooms. Avoid soaking in water—mushrooms are like sponges!

  2. Prep the Mushrooms

Tear or cut into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.

  3. Dry Sauté First

Heat a dry pan over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms and let them cook undisturbed for a few minutes. Stir occasionally and cook until most of the moisture has evaporated and they start to develop a golden color.

  4. Add Flavor

Once the mushrooms are golden and slightly crisp, add your butter or oil, along with garlic and your favorite seasonings.

  5. Finish & Serve

Sauté for another minute or two until fragrant. Then, enjoy them on their own or add into pastas, risottos, stir-fries, or any dish that needs a rich umami boost!
