Lions Mane Instructions
1. Choose Your Spot
Place your grow bag in a bright area out of direct sunlight. A shady windowsill, kitchen counter, or mudroom works great. Room temperature is ideal (60–75°F).
2. Cut the Bag
Use a clean, sharp knife or scissors to make a small “X” or slit (about 2–3 inches) on the marked area of the bag. This gives your mushrooms room to grow.
3. Mist Daily
Use a spray bottle to mist the cut area 2–3 times per day. Keep the surface moist, but not soaking wet.
4. Watch Them Grow
In about 7–10 days, you’ll see fuzzy white growth forming. It will expand quickly into large, fluffy clusters. Harvest when the spines (teeth) are long and delicate—usually around 10–14 days after cutting.
5. Harvest Time
Gently twist or cut at the base to harvest. Lion’s Mane is best enjoyed fresh—sauté it like crab, grill like a steak, or even use it in soups and stir-fries!
6. Bonus Flushes
After harvesting, continue misting the same spot daily. You can get a second or third flush in the following weeks! New pins will begins forming within 8-14 days from harvest
